Class Hiatus until 2019
I wish to extend all my best wishes to the community of Insight meditation students who have dropped in or regularly found refuge in meditation and dharma discussions on Monday nights. And thank those of you researching opportunities to meditate with a group.
I am deeply grateful for the shared-learning, growing and awakening wisdom we've exchanged over the weeks, months and now years. Like the fresh winds blowing in from the ocean it is time for me to open to the creative process at an expansive level, and follow where the bread-crumbs lead me. For my life-long-learning to keep freshened, I am taking a three year break from teaching assignments, staying in phone and email contact with students as each desire.

A Path with Heart ~ refuge recovery meditation and dharma inquiry -
What to Bring: Your own cushion if you have one. There are a dozen zabuttons and zafus, along with multiple bolsters and floor blankets. Chairs are provided. If you have injuries, please take care of your body by lying down on blankets for padding. Bring your own covered water container.
If you leave anything behind after class, there is a lost and found behind the front desk.
Please arrive ten minutes before class begins to find your seat and settle in. Shoes off at door, wear comfortable clothing. Refrain from using strong scents and bring a covered container for water. There will be a short tea break at 7:45 followed by a Dharma offering and group participation.
This sitting group is open to everyone, is user-friendly and appropriate for those new to meditation or those with experience. Your life-experience is the foundation we build from.
Practicing compassion is the method by which our direct understanding and awakening emerges. Whether you are meeting difficult life challenges, or simply wanting to expose yourself to the methods and wisdom teachings of meditation, please accept this friendlyinvitation for your further exploration.

Generosity: There will be an opportunity to practice teacher dana (generosity) with a suggestion of $10 a class. No one will be turned away who cannot participate in dana.
